Appointment deadline

The Visa Service strives to process requests for appointments within 72 hours, but additional checks, an increasing number of requests, or technical problems can lengthen these deadlines.

We recommend making an appointment in advance of your planned departure date to avoid setback.

Application submission is possible 6 months before the date of departure.

Similarly, there is a surge in demand with the approach of summer and winter school holidays periods. Obtaining an appointment can then exceed reasonable time, while it is usually limited to a few days. As a result, applicants are encouraged to plan to submit their applications with sufficient anticipation to avoid having to postpone their departure.
