Information / Visa applications

Diplomatic and consular posts are now once again issuing visas, with all posts processing applications based on the classification of the countries and in accordance with their ability to meet health conditions.

  1. In Schengen States, as well as in Cyprus, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, the United Kingdom and Ireland, all visa applications can be processed.
  2. In countries affected by the lifting of restrictions at external borders (Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay) (countries of departure or stay took place 30 days prior to departure), all visa applications can be processed provided that Embassies can do so in light of the health situation.
  3. In all other countries (countries of departure or stay took place 30 days prior to departure), only visa applications for the categories listed in the exempted international travel certificate can be processed.

Embassies will pay special attention to the reception conditions for visa applicants from a health perspective.

Further information is available on the page of each country of application. If necessary, users can find information on their specific situation from the relevant Embassies and from external service providers in countries which outsource the collection of applications.
