A qui s'adresser ?

All persons residing in a regular way in Mauritius or in Seychelles must make an appointment at the French Embassy in Mauritius  to apply for a visa.

No visa is required for mauritius and seycheles citizens traveling to the Schengen space, as long as they don’t stay more than 90 days every 6 months.

Whether or not you need a visa, entry into the Schengen area of third-country nationals must comply with a certain number of conditions, as provided for by the European and national regulations in force.

Make an appointment

When you have the necessary time and all the documents required for your application, you can make on line an appointment.

Appointment waiting times

The Visa service strives to process applications within 48 hours but additional checks, a growing number of requests or technical problems may extend these deadlines.

We recommend that you make an appointment sufficiently in advance of your planned departure date to avoid disappointment.

The filing of an application is possible from 6 months before the departure date.

Similarly, it is found a flood of applications at the approach of summer and winter, periods of school holidays. Obtaining an appointment can then exceed a reasonable time, whereas during other periods it is limited to a few days. Accordingly, applicants are encouraged to make arrangements to file their claims with sufficient advance to avoid having to delay their departure.
