Official passports:
Holders of diplomatic passports from the Russian Federation are exempted from short-stay visas for France and EU member states.
Visas issued to holders of official passports (i.e. related to their functions) are free of charge.
Submission of applications at the consulate:
The following categories can apply in person, at the Consulate General of France in Moscow (Kazansky pereulok 10) between 9:30 a.m.-12: 00 p.m. by appointment at +7 499 703 4974:
- Married spouses of French citizens
- Long-stay visas for direct family members of European citizens residing in France
- Short-stay visas for married spouses of EU or UK citizens benefiting from the Withdrawal Agreement
- Direct family members of Russian diplomats/administrative staff posted in France (spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren) at the official invitation of diplomatic or administrative staff of Russian diplomatic or consular representations in France.
