Apply for a visa in Thailand to visit France

Visa applications submitted in Thailand are examined by the French Embassy in Bangkok, only the Embassy is authorised to take decisions about visas.

The visa service of the French Embassy in Thailand has resumed its activity of issuing visas. However, each traveler must check the applicable travel restrictions prior to departure. Visa holders are not automatically authorized to enter France and must respect the entry conditions in effect at the time of travel.

The modalities for making an appointment with our service provider TLS Contact are unchanged. Users are asked to anticipate in order to obtain their appointment at least fifteen days before departure for a short stay visa, and one month before for a long stay visa, these deadlines can be considerably longer in high season (several weeks or even a month).

The high season in Thailand is from the end of February to the end of July and the months of November to December.

  • in "Prime time": Filing of files possible outside the classic opening hours including the Premium service. In particular on Saturday morning from 08:00 to 12:00;
  • and at the address of your choice.

Wearing a mask will be mandatory and social distancing measures will have to be respected in order to preserve the health of all.

Caution: Cerfa form in draft

The day of your appointment you must imperatively present your CERFA in final paper version. It must not have the word "DRAFT".

If your CERFA has the mention "DRAFT", this means that your application is not finalized on France-Visas and will therefore be refused on the day of filing.


Beware of fraudulent sites

Visa applicants are advised to be cautious in all dealings with companies that claim to offer assistance in obtaining French visas.


The day of your appointment:

Attention, the day of your appointment you must print and come with your receipt. In case of absence of a document present on your receipt, your visa application can be refused.
